The Committee 
Shennaghys Jiu is run by a group
of friends masquerading as a committee.
Part of the success of the Festival (we think) is the fact that,
despite all the usual last minute catastrophes, we still have a great
laugh doing this.
The primary object is for you (and us) to have a good time and maybe
learn something about Manx or other cultures.
If you want to come and play for us in 2009 - great! We need young groups (16 - 30) prepared to be part of an "extended family" festival. We took the decision some time ago not to pay performance fees; however, we do assist with travel expenses (sponsorship permitting) provide B+B accomodation (at least) and look after you exceptionally well. The best recommendation you can have is that most of our guests return, are our friends and visit at other times apart from the Festival.
